How great would this be for an "industrial chic" coffee table. It's been cleaned up, polished and ready to be used. All the metal was waxed. You can barely tell, but there's black lining around the sides for accent and a wide faded black border on the top flat wooden surface. This scale is extremely heavy, but what a great conversation piece.

| LONG WEATHERED FOLK ART SLED 19th c. |
Someone ages ago put a lot of design sense into building this unique sled; great cutout form on the attached outer edges with graceful curves on the top and bottom of the flat surface. Slight hint of faded green paint on the weathered wood. Quite long and heavy. Constructed with pegs, screws and nails, all original. Hand wrought iron runners.

Most of Maine's industrial mills have closed but they have left behind antique pieces to be treasured. This grain painted high miller's stool is a perfect example. A windsor style with typical Maine black over red graining and yellow lining for accent. The good height of the stool works well with kitchen counters or islands.
