ANTIQUE IRONSTONE WARMING PLATTER C. AFTER 1891
White ironstone oval platter mounted onto a nickel-plated brass warming container with capped filler spout and sturdy handles for lifting. Germany is impressed into the frame as is a manufacturer's mark and the number 51. I've tested the platter with boiling water and it stays warm for a good twenty minutes.
Condition:  nickel-plate is worn on the frame, age crackling and slight discoloring in places.

DIMINUTIVE CONTINENTAL PRIMITIVE PAINTED BLANKET CHEST C. 1800'S
Which European country is still a mystery since I've been told possibly Austria or Belgium. It's a pine piece with pegged construction. Strap hinges and a dity box in a clean interior. Stylized country buildings painted on the front panels with diagonal striped border of medium blue, red and green. Plain sides, paneled top and a cut out on the base.
Condition:  Paint loss on the top and front base. Slight warp on sides 
                where the front boards are pegged to the side boards.

FRENCH CANADIAN STEPBACK CUPBOARD C. EARLY 1800'S
Great primitive painted French Canadian Dresser from the early 19th c. Pleasing blue paint with a salmon hue interior. Paint is original. Clean interior on the bottom with one shelf. The back boards are attached with forged rosehead nails, drawers have large dovetail and  rough chamfered bottoms. Good detail on the piece with reeded sides, beaded edges and good molding around door panels. This is an exceptional example of an early primitive dresser.
Condition:  An old repair to fill a hole on the lower back right side.  Top molding has been restored.

Small primitive New England ladder back chair retaining bits of soldier blue paint. Well worn splint seat, sturdy but has some breaks. Turned finials. Great patina on the seat and the wood. More a decorative piece at this time in it's long life. I'm showing it on the wall of the shop.

Rustic H stretcher base work table from the early 19th c. Pine top on a birch based painted with two shades of distressed gray paint. Base has mortised and pegged construction with square nails attaching the 2 board pine top. Note the height. It would work best as a coffee table or between chairs, etc.
Condition: sturdy with worn paint throughout.
