PAINTED SCANDINAVIAN TALLCASE CLOCK C. LATE 1700's
These painted Scandinavian clocks originated in Denmark on the Bornholm Island. As clocks go, they are considered primitively made, however, that's what gives them the old world charm. Soft well worn sage color decorated with naively painted floral cornicopias and then the clock was accented with gold gilt. I was told it works and loves to chime the hour for you.

PLAIN FABERGE CIGARETTE CASE
Wooden Victorian cigarette case by Faberge. During the time of Nicholas and Alexandria of Russia these cases were extremely popular. This simple wooden case made of Karelian Birch has not been embellished as some might have been. The hinge is wooden and incorporated into the design and held by a tiny brass pin. Wonderfully mellow patina. No markings, initials or inscriptions.
