The chandelier is made totally of wrought iron and white beads strung together with a graceful scroll effect over the frame. Six arms which have been electrified. The chandelier has a wonderfully romantic look.
Condition: Good, a few missing beads, not noticeable.

| ANTIQUE EUROPEAN COPPER GAS LANTERN C. LATE 1800'S |
| Impressive over-sized European copper lantern which the weather has oxidized to a beautiful verdigris color. The lantern was originally gas in the 1800's and has since been wired for electricity. Simple classic lines with a small acanthus leaf in each corner. I've seen similar lanterns pictured in decorating books on the new "Flanders Style". This lamp is the real thing made from an old cream painted neoclassical balustral. Nicely crackled and chipped without being too distressed. Base was added for stability. Octagonal linen shade and a painted ball finial as a final touch.
