Impressive over-sized European copper lantern which the weather has oxidized to a beautiful verdigris color. The lantern was originally gas in the 1800's and has since been wired for electricity. Simple classic lines with a small acanthus leaf in each corner. I've seen similar lanterns pictured in decorating books on the new "Flanders Style".
