BLACK AND GILT FRENCH MIRROR 19th C.
Black and gold gilt painted French mirror from the mid 1800's with an interesting form. The corners are an arrow shape with the painted flat balk section incised with scrollwork. The center oval is decorated with raised flowers, beaded incert, gold gilt trim and a heavy wrought iron loop on the top for hanging.

Condition:  Restoration to stabilize construction

Beautiflly carved 18th C. Rococo looking glass, not over done with an abundance of carving. Half column on each side. Gold gilt wood.

Condition: Restored with the center top reinforced on the back. Looks like the gilt was redone at some point. A few breaks in the carving.
