ANTIQUE FEDERAL TIGER MAPLE BREAKFAST TABLE
I believe this to be a New Hampshire Federal Breakfast Table made from a medium tone tiger maple wood, c. early 1800's. Simply turned heavy center column with plain ogee curve legs. A drawer is located on either end, wooden hinged supports for the drop leaves, and a decorative touch of a ball placed under each corner. The table is in very good condition except for a very slight warp to one drop leaf. The pulls reflect the period, but are replacements. The original surface was striped at some point in time and now has a soft mellow patina. This piece is a lovely example of a center column breakfast table: simple lines letting the nicely figured curly maple be the focal point. Condition: age split on the top and the column (pictured). Size: top: 17"W 38"L x 29"H, drop leaf: 11"W x 38"L

EARLY GEORGIAN DRESSING MIRROR C. MID 1700'S
Wonderful form on this English Dressing Mirror from the mid 1700's. Walnut veneer borders the top surface, frame and the top drawer. Brass medallions decorate each corner of the frame. Small brass pulls, and brass mirror screws. The mirror sits on top of a miniature chest of drawers. Construction of the drawers is quite primitive but dovetailed. Restoration to reglue some of the veneer and tighten the corners of the mirror. Condition: restored Size: 13.5"w x 22"h x 5.5"d |

LATE FEDERAL SALT BOX C. EARLY 1800'S
Late 1700's New England salt box with wonderful cutout work on the top. Mahogany wood with naive inlay on the upper front and the drawer. Salt over the years has oxidized the square nails which discolored the surrounding wood. This piece has a charming quality as it tries to emulate the finer salt boxes of the period, however, it's a country piece made with loving care and shows its age. Size: 18"h x 9"w x 6"d
