The tailored straight lines make this Biedermeier sofa a noteworthy reflection of your personal style. Light fruitwood veneer with ebony inlaid highlights. Straight upholstered back, open scroll arms set on square legs ending in black cuff moldings. Soft red and ivory upholstery in good condition. This innovative style works well in period rooms and more contemporary settings. From either Northern Germany or Austria. The Biedermeier style is considered the forerunner of the modern movement.
