Wonderful studded leather document box from the Federal Period with brass pull on top with a dogwood design. Good graphic design with brass tacks. Center oval a darker leather for contrast. Inside covered with period paper of blue dots on white. Leather strap to hold top and a key!!

Condition:  Very good except the flap is worn or missing. Tacks are all in place and original.
