Over the past 17 years I’ve had such a wonderful response from the visitors to the shop…some just stand there and smile mesmerized by the view; a serene setting of a wild flower meadow reaching down to the Penobscot Bay, with the Maine islands dotting the horizon and the ferry slowly navigating its way to Islesboro. Rain or shine it’s a slice of heaven…and then, it’s back to the delight of antiquing: finding that object of your affection.

The shop’s appearance is approached from a decorative point of view with stylish taste and space not clutter. We showcase pieces and accessories;  a collection of 18th, 19th and 20th century American and European period pieces which include formal, sophisticated country,  primitive and decorative accents and a touch of mid-century modern. Eclectic to be sure and hopefully something for everyone’s fancy: depending on the stock at the moment, furniture including rattan, wicker and bamboo, porcelain and pottery, colorful majolica, art, hooked rugs, folk art, mirrors, glass, lamps and lighting, architectural fragment, and in the loft a splash of fun for the young at heart …

You might not be able to personally visit the shop in mid-coast Maine, but at least you can get a glimpse by taking some time to view our online site. Email if you have any questions or please call if you need reassurance and prefer to hear a real voice.

Welcome and enjoy…
